The Origin of CPTA’s badge
Japan Federation of Certified Public Tax Accountants’ Associations (JFCPTAA) became a special corporation which was found under the amended Certified Public Tax Accountant Act in 1956 from a corporation aggregate.
At the time, JFCPTAA decided on the uniform badge (pictured) worn by its members.
In the design, the outer circle represents “the Rising Sun” of Japan. It means CPTA will thrive forever with the Rising Sun. The multi-petaled cherry blossom inside the circle is Japan’s national flower, which was used for the symbol of the former Ministry of Finance.
